Overlea is part of the Greater Baltimore Youth Football League (GBYFL) using the Pop Warner Rule Book as a guide.

Overlea's "Orange" teams participate in the National Division, which is comprised of the most competitive programs in GBYFL football. Play-offs and championships are part of this divisional format. Each team plays every other team in this division. There are 8 - 9 regularly scheduled games.

Overlea's "Black" teams participate in the Centenial Division, which is comprised of the second most competitive programs in GBYFL football. Play-offs and championships are part of this divisional format. Each team plays every other team in this division. There are 8 - 9 regularly scheduled games.
